We are pleased to be presenting a special sneak preview of the new Wilco album “Cousin” on Thursday, September 28th. From 4pm to 6pm we will be playing the new album in its entirety, and we’ll have CD & LP copies of the album on sale one day early!
We’re thrilled to announce that this year, we are partnering with Polaris Music Prize!
Each year, the Polaris music prize commissions 10 posters for all the short list nominees and 2 for the Slaight Family Heritage Prize, creating unique art pieces that are inspired by the albums. These vivid graphic interpretations of the nominees’ music are then developed into limited edition, silk-screened prints.
The poster, along with the 11 others is be part of a travelling exhibition starting in provinces across Canada. In Calgary, AB we’ll be at Sloth Records, at Sonic Boom in Toronto, ON, Taz Records in Halifax, NS, and Librairie Résonance Bookstore in Montreal, QC between September 1st and September 15th.
