Festival Season is Upon Us!

June kicks off festival season in a big way in Calgary, with three very diverse festivals. Calgary Metal Fest occurs June 4-6, the third annual Garbage Daze runes from June 5-7 and of course Sled Island from June 24-28. Sloth is pleased to be selling tickets for all three of these events and encourage you to act quickly and purchase your tickets today to avoid being left out on the fun!

Record Store Day 2015 – Saturday April 18, 2015

Join us THIS SATURDAY for the biggest event of the year, RECORD STORE DAY!

WHEN – (This) Saturday April 18th

HOURS: 8 AM – 6 PM (please note early start time)

SALE: 15% off NEW music (RSD titles not included) // 30% off USED music // 50% off clothing & DVDs (sale runs until end of day Sunday, April 19th)

RSD “rules”: first come, first served, no holds, no purchasing of multiple copies of the same RSD title (ie one each per person per title)

#SufjanSaturday at Sloth! March 21st @ 3 PM

This Saturday, March 21st, is ‪#‎SufjanSaturday‬ at Sloth!

Join us in-store as we’ll be playing the new Sufjan Stevens album, “Carrie & Lowell”, in it’s entirety, 10 days before its release and before any stream is made available.

We’ll also be taking pre-orders for the album so you’ll be the first to own a copy upon it’s release!

The preview gets underway at 3 PM this Saturday, see you then!

Do you have a consignment with us?

This is a LAST CALL to anyone who has consigned anything at Sloth prior to 2012, we ask that you please get in touch with us asap please to clear up your consignment. We are running out of space and simply have way too much old stock from consignments that need to find their way back to their owners or to someone other than us.

Please contact us via email at slothrecords at shaw dot ca to follow up if you would like to clean up your account before March 15, 2015. Anything not taken care of (again, prior to 2012 consignments only. If you have a current consignment we’re all good) by this date will find your products recycled and/or given away.

Join us this weekend for our Black Friday Weekend sale! Everything in the store will be on sale, along with lots of exclusive Black Friday Record Store Day titles.

Friday, November 28th – 10 am to 8 pm
Saturday, November 29th – 11 am to 6 pm
Sunday, November 30th – 11 am to 5 pm

**No holds on RSD titles, first come first served, limit one of each title per person
