We are open regular hours from now through to January with the following exceptions:

December 24th: 10 AM to 5 PM
December 25th: Closed
December 26th: 9 AM to 7 PM
December 31st: 11 AM to 5 PM
January 1st: 12 PM to 5 PM

Join us for our annual Boxing Day Sale! This year we are carrying our sale over to December 27th as well. Everything in the store (with some small exceptions) will be 20% off!

Thursday, June 3rd brings TENEMENT (Don Giovani Records) along with locals Bog Bodies and Dream Whip to Sloth for an instore show, as part of Garbage Daze III. Show is $10, please bring $10 for the bands.

June kicks off festival season in a big way in Calgary, with three very diverse festivals. Calgary Metal Fest occurs June 4-6, the third annual Garbage Daze runes from June 5-7 and of course Sled Island from June 24-28. Sloth is pleased to be selling tickets for all three of these events and encourage you to act quickly and purchase your tickets today to avoid being left out on the fun!

This Saturday, March 21st, is ‪#‎SufjanSaturday‬ at Sloth!

Join us in-store as we’ll be playing the new Sufjan Stevens album, “Carrie & Lowell”, in it’s entirety, 10 days before its release and before any stream is made available.

We’ll also be taking pre-orders for the album so you’ll be the first to own a copy upon it’s release!

Holiday shopping madness is in full swing here, there and everywhere, but we try and make it easy for you at Sloth Records. We have gift certificates in any amount, tons of turntable options for those looking for a new record player this year, and are getting daily shipments of all your favourite releases from 2014 and beyond to make sure you can cross off your shopping list in one fell swoop.
